SERVICE AREAS

The geographic areas served by the Commission include:

Wastewater

The City of Greer, with boundaries extending north to Apalache, Highway 14 North at Country Club Road, continuing on Highways 290 and 101 to Mt. Vernon Estates; south down Highway 14 South to Maple Creek along Poplar Drive Extension to Textube and along Highway 101 South to I-85; east to the South Tyger Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Maple Creek Wastewater Treatment Plan; west to King Acres, then south along Princess Creek to South Suber Road. Sewer is also available south of I-85 in the area between Brockman-McClimon Road and Highway 14 South to East Phillips Road.

Water

The City of Greer, with northern boundaries that follow Highway 14 to the Water Filter Plant, continuing on Memorial Drive Extension to Valley Haven, then on Highway 101 to North Rutherford Road and Highway 290 to St. Mark Road; southern boundaries stretching down Highway 101 to Robinson road, south of I-85 to Abner Creek and along Highway 14 to the Enoree River; eastern boundaries that follow the Enoree River on Highway 29. Water is also available southeast of the city down Brockman-McClimon Road to Abner Creek, and west along Abner Creek Road to Highway 14 South.

Electricity

The City of Greer, with northern boundaries extending to Henderson Road on Highway 14 North, on Highway 101 to Johnson Road and on Highway 290 to North Rutherford Road and slightly beyond. The southern boundaries extend from Westmoreland Road on Highway 14 South (this feeds the Bent Creek Plantation Subdivision) to the southern end of Brockman-McClimon Road to Liberty Hill Road then to the south end of Highway 101 at Freeman Farm Road. The eastern boundaries are Clearview Circle on Highway 29 past the South Tyger River. The western boundaries are South Brannon Drive on Highway 29 and Suber Road off Hood Road.

Gas

The City of Greer, with northern boundaries extending to the City of Landrum near the North Carolina border and current service extending north on Highway 290 to Dill Road and along Highway 14 North to Highway 11 in the Gowensville community; southern boundaries extending to the area known as Crescent near the town of Woodruff; eastern boundaries extending to Wellford and western boundaries to the Enoree River, including the Taylors area.
