Rain barrels offer a variety of benefits around your home and garden including saving money on your water bill.  On Tuesday April 13th, 2021 Greer CPW will partner with the Watershed Ecology Center to provide customers with a repurposed barrel and conversion kit.  The cost is $25 to cover the cost of the conversion kit.

“This event has been very successful in previous years.  We’re excited to offer customers this opportunity to reduce runoff pollution, promote soil health and conserve water,” said Alison Rauch, Greer CPW Public Information Coordinator.

55 gallon rain barrels have been donated by Coca-Cola and were previously used to hold syrup mix.  During the drive through workshop, participants will receive a rain barrel kit which can be assembled at home (a drill is the only item required for assembly).
