Significant outages will be posted on our website, Facebook and Twitter. Make sure you’re following our accounts!

We also have an automated calling system that alerts residents during emergencies. Make sure your information is up to date in your customer portal so that you receive these automated emergency calls.

Report an Outage

Need to report a power outage? The fastest and easiest way to do so is through your online Greer CPW account. Simply log in to your account and select “report an outage.”

Report a Gas Leak

If you smell gas and cannot immediately find the source, go outside and call Greer CPW from your cell phone at (864) 848-5500 (select option 2). Other gas safety tips:

  • Do not use a telephone or flashlight, switch a light on or off or light a match if you smell gas.
  • Don’t try to relight a gas furnace, water heater or range until you are sure there is no more smell of gas.
  • Get immediate medical attention for victims of burns or carbon monoxide poisoning.
