RECOGNITION FOR RELIABLE ELECTRIC OPERATIONS

(Greer CPW) is one of 84 of the nation’s more
than 2,000 public power utilities to earn
Reliable Public Power Provider
TM (RP3) recognition from the American
Public Power Association for providing consumers
with the highest degree of reliable and safe
electric service.

The Greer
Commission of Public Works is one of 21
municipally-owned and operated utilities in beautiful
South Carolina. We service more than 23,000 families and
businesses in the upstate along the booming I-85
corridor. Though Greer is considered by many as a
bedroom community, commercial growth is flourishing,
from home-grown businesses and the high-growth retail
sector, to international companies such as Mitsubishi
and BMW.
