By August 1, 2017December 7th, 2020No Comments

We’ve had several issues including an outside contractor cutting a high voltage line, fuses melting and underground cables malfunctioning starting June 28th, 2017 . We understand your frustration and the issues have involved a lot of overtime and headache for our crews working to diagnose the problem. We want you to know that we are working and will continue to work on solving these problems to provide you with continuous reliable service.

After our most recent outage on August 1st, engineers are re-assessing fuse sizes to ensure that the proper fuses are being used. Our crews are also inspecting the circuit that caused the problems. They will inspect and repair each wire to prevent future problems. We are also looking at ways to isolate sections of our circuit so that if we have a problem again it will not impact the entire circuit.

Please know that we are extremely sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused our customers and are working tirelessly to prevent future issues in this area.
