Greer CPW’s Public Information Coordinator, Alison Rauch, was recently awarded the Individual Public Communications Achievement Award from the American Water Works Association (AWWA). Alison received the award at the 144th Annual Conference and Expo (ACE25) in Denver, Colorado recognizing top leaders in the utility industry.
“I am humbled to receive this recognition and am inspired to keep raising the bar for clear, concise messaging related to our utilities,” said Alison Rauch, Greer CPW Public Information Coordinator.
The purpose of the award is to recognize individual and utility AWWA members for advancements in the ways water communicators are informing and engaging the public. Alison was nominated by Pam Flasch and Libby Young from Greenville Water following a significant water main break in May 2024 that impacted nearly half of Greer CPW water service customers as well as Tropical Storm Helene in September 2024.
